Burn X Flash wins MPL Cambodia Autumn Split 2022, to represent Cambodia’s at M4 World Championship in Indonesia

Burn X Flash wins the country’s eSport event, MPL Cambodia Autumn Split 2022, at a competition, sponsored by Metfone, Cambodia’s leading company in Telecommunications and Digital technology.

Burn X Flash beat Logic Esports to cling to the championship on Sunday evening, with some 3,000 people present to see the final competition which was held at Aeon Mall Sen Sok City. Online viewership at peak was over 110 thousands, according to Esports Charts. Total viewership within 24 hours is 1.5 million.

Burn X Flash will now represent Cambodia at the M4 World Championship event in January 2023, in Jarkata, Indonesia.

Burn X Flash has also pocketed USD 16,000 from winning this championship.

Metfone Cambodia says it has witnessed a vast improvement of the quality of eSport in Cambodia and has felt its impact of its sponsorship for this program.

“The event was a great success. We have seen that the eSport development in Cambodia is becoming more and more professional. Besides this eSport event, Metfone is also sponsoring Cambodia’s top flight football league for another three years, from 2022 to 2024.
