Japanese Embassy To Host Preliminary In-country Contest for Asian International Children’s Film Festival

The Embassy of Japan in Cambodia is going to hold the “10th Preliminary In-Country Contest in Cambodia” of short films produced by Cambodian high school students.
According to the embassy’s press release issued recently, organised in cooperation with the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports under the theme of “Self responsibility”, this contest will choose three best films to join the “Asian International Children’s Film Festival 2018” which will be held on Nov. 24, 2018 in Japan (Kitami City, Hokkaido).
The registration for an orientation programme will be accepted by July 31, 2018 at the Department of General Secondary Education (DGSE), Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, while the orientation will take place at the Embassy of Japan in Cambodia on Aug. 2, at 14:00.
The deadline for application forms and films entry will be Aug. 27, 2018 and the in-country contest will be held on Sept. 17, at 14:00 at the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Centre (CJCC) in Phnom Penh.
