Tourism Minister Awarded Honorary Doctorate Degree in Arts from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi

Cambodian Minister of Tourism H.E. Thong Khon has been awarded Honorary Doctorate Degree in Arts (Tourism) from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi of Thailand.
According to a news release of the Ministry of Tourism, the Honorary Doctorate Degree was conferred upon H.E. Minister in a ceremony held yesterday afternoon along with the university’s graduation ceremony, under the royal presidency of Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
H.E. Thong Khon, also President of the National Olympic Committee Cambodia (NOCC), was recognised by the university for his contribution to the development of sustainable, responsible, and inclusive tourism sector.
In Late July, H.E. Thong Khon was appointed as a member of the European Tourism Academy by European Council on Tourism and Trade.
Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi is among the nine universities under the direct leadership of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
