Indian Minister of External Affairs To Visit Cambodia Next Week

Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India H.E. Ms. Sushma Swaraj will pay an official visit to Cambodia from Aug. 28 to 30, at the invitation of Cambodian Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Prak Sokhonn.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation AKP received this afternoon, during her stay in the Kingdom, H.E. Ms. Sushma Swaraj will pay courtesy calls on Senate President Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum and Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.
H.E. Ms. Sushma Swaraj will hold bilateral talks with H.E. Senior Minister Prak Sokhonn on a wide range of issues concerning bilateral cooperation and exchange views on regional and international matters of common interest.
Following the bilateral meeting, three documents – Agreement between the Government of the Republic of India and the Royal Government of Cambodia for the Conservation/Restoration of Preah Vihear Temple, Choam Khsan district, Preah Vihear province; MoU on Cooperation between the Ministry of Health and Family Affairs of the Republic of India and the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia on Cooperation in the field of Health and Medicines; and MoU between the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Foreign Service Institute of the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of India – will be signed.
H.E. Ms. Sushma Swaraj also plans to visit a number of ancient temples in Siem Reap province, including Ta Prohm restation project supported by the Indian Government.
This forthcoming official visit to Cambodia will further strengthen the traditional relations of friendship and close cooperation between Cambodia and India.
