This Year’s Sea Festival in Koh Kong Expects 300,000 Visitors

Cambodia expects between 250,000 and 300,000 visitors for the planned Sea Festival to take place in Koh Kong province this year.
Minister of Tourism H.E. Thong Khon shared the positive projection recently justifying that the coastal province now has significantly improved its hospitality services as well as tourism products.
To happen for the second time for Koh Kong province, the Sea Festival will take place on Dec. 14-16, and Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and his spouse will preside over the opening of the event.
The first sea festival in Koh Kong in 2014 attracted roughly 100,000 national and international visitors.
Since 2011, Cambodia’s four coastal provinces – namely Preah Sihanouk, Kep, Koh Kong and Kampot – have been taking turn to host the annual Sea Festival.
